 Some producers said demand would recover in January and now plan to gradually raise prices. In Germany, the factory price of the plate is about 900 euros/ton, up about 50 euros/ton week on week.

 Prices are lower in Italy, but Italian producers also say that the price of imported slab is as high as $650 / ton, and the price needs to be higher than 800 euros/ton to make a profit, and the price is expected to reach 850-900 euros/ton in mid-January.

 In addition, the factory price of hot rolled plate in Germany is about 750 euros/ton, steel mills closely watch the market, and expect the price will rise in January.
