Canada made the first double reverse sunset review final decision on China related welded large-diameter carbon alloy steel pipe

The International Trade Court of Canada (citt) is expected to make a final ruling on industrial damage by double anti sunset review before August 3, 2022. The customs codes of the products involved before February 4, 2021 are 7305.11.00.22, 7305.11.00.23, 7305.11.00.24, 7305.11.00.25, 7305.12.00.21, 7305.12.00.22, 7305.12.00.23, 7305.12.00.24, 7305.19.00.22, 7305.19.00.23, 7305.19.00.24 and 7305.19.00.25. On March 24, 2016, Canada filed an anti-dumping investigation on welded large-diameter carbon alloy steel pipes imported from or originating in China and Japan, and a countervailing investigation on the products involved imported from or originating in China. On September 20, 2016, the Canadian border service made a final affirmative anti-dumping determination on the products involved in the case originated or imported from China and Japan, and a final affirmative countervailing determination on the products involved in the case imported or originated from China. On September 27 and 28, 2021, the International Trade Tribunal of Canada (citt) and the Canadian Border Service Agency (CBSA) respectively issued announcements to conduct the first anti-dumping sunset review and investigation on welded large-diameter carbon alloy steel pipes originating from or imported from China and Japan, and the first countervailing sunset review and investigation on welded large-diameter carbon alloy steel pipes imported from China.
