According to the latest monthly report of the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), Chinese steel prices should remain range-bound in the future, given market expectations that supply and demand will be in balance again.
The association pointed out that with the steady recovery of China’s economy, steel demand from domestic users may be gradually released as the results of COVID-19 prevention and control are further consolidated. The Chinese central government has taken many measures to help develop the economy.
