On February 8, 2022, the National Tariff Commission of Pakistan issued the latest announcement of Case No. 37/2015, in response to the application submitted by Pakistani domestic producers International Steels Limited and Aisha Steel Mills Limited on December 15, 2021, for originating in Or the Galvanized Steel Coils/Sheets imported from China initiated the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation. The Pakistani tariff numbers of the products involved are 7210.4110 (iron or non-alloy steel flat-rolled products with a width of 600 mm or more of secondary quality), 7210.4190 (other iron or non-alloy steel flat-rolled products with a width of 600 mm or more), 7210.4990 ( Other flat-rolled products of iron or non-alloy steel with a width greater than or equal to 600 mm), 7212.3010 (Flat-rolled products of iron or non-alloy steel with a width of less than 600 mm of secondary quality), 7212.3090 (other steel or non-alloyed products with a width of less than 600 mm) Steel flat rolled products), 7225.9200 (iron or non-alloy steel flat rolled products with a width greater than or equal to 600 mm plated or galvanized by other methods), 7226.9900 (other alloy steel flat rolled products with a width of less than 600 mm). The investigation period of this case is from October 2018 to September 2019, from October 2019 to September 2020, and from October 2020 to September 2021. The announcement will take effect from the date of issuance. During the investigation period, the current anti-dumping duties will continue to be effective. The final decision of the case is expected to be made within 12 months of the announcement of the filing of the case.
Stakeholders should register their response within 10 days of the announcement, and submit case comments, evidentiary materials and a hearing application within 45 days.

On August 11, 2015, the National Tariff Commission of Pakistan initiated an anti-dumping investigation on galvanized coils originating in or imported from China. On February 8, 2017, Pakistan made a final affirmative anti-dumping ruling on the case, and decided to impose anti-dumping duties of 6.09% to 40.47% on the products involved in China.
