Should the increase be insufficient, European steel prices will rise steadily

It is reported that due to factors such as low domestic supply, good order volume, long delivery cycle and small quantity of imported resources, the prices of cold rolling and  in various parts of Europe have further risen this week, and the production volume of most  mills in Europe can catch up. Cold coil and hot-dip galvanized on June-July delivery, while some German mills have completely sold out steel for June delivery. The current hot-dip galvanizing price is 990 euros/ton EXW (1060 US dollars/ton), a week-on-week increase of 60 US dollars/ton EXW, and the cold  price is 950 euros/ton EXW, a week-to-week increase of about 40 US dollars/ton. Due to the good volume of downstream auto orders, it is expected that prices still have room to rise in April. In terms of hot coil, the quotation for European hot coil delivery in June is 860 euros/ton EXW, and the lowest transaction price is 820 euros/ton EXW. The tight supply will still make the price continue to rise.

In terms of imports, a South Korean steel mill lowered the price of cold coils from 860 Euros/ton to 850 Euros/ton CFR this week, and an Indian steel mill shipped 5,000 tons of cold coils to Europe at a price of 830 Euros/ton. -The price of cold coil for June delivery is 850 euros/ton CFR.
